Metacognition

Before we delve into the specifics of training we need to lay out some groundwork on goals and mindset.

This has the potential of veering into excessively trite territory (the classic – set some SMART goals and you’re done!) so the aim here is to keep it short and practical.

I propose we do need some idea of settings goals in fitness (or any other endeavour where you aim to see progress).

This is broken down into a goal hierarchy:

To implement this we want to ensure you can form habits and get things done.

All the while approaching all this with the right mindset.
